I was in Spencer's in the mall and I heard it. Does anyone out their know what the name of the band is? It is not the original song. It is a rock/punk cover of it.
The song is the one that the heat miser sings in the rudolph rednose reindeer movie, where he wants it to snow in the sunny town.
