Does Philips Vision Plus headlight bulbs really gives 50% more light on the road?

    50% more light is a bit of marketing generalization. Also, Philips advertises them as "up to 50% more light on the road". That makes for a much different meaning.

    The full statement regarding these bulbs is "Philips VisionPlus halogen lamps produce 50% more light on the road compared to standard lamps. The extra light is measured at a distance of 50 and 75 meter in front of the car."

    can't really comment on the particular brand, but had tried once on diamond vision of "P" product but not that as what they claim actually.
