How long does it take for a newborn puppies eyes to open?

The newborn puppies eyes , should open between 15 to 17 days, and ears should open between 20 to 24 days.

Puppies will also become more active, but most of their time will still be spend nursing and sleeping.

My puppies took 2 weeks - a month or so, but all of them are different. The runt of the family took longer for her eyes to open, but she did everything the same as the other ones. But if after 2 months or so the puppy doesnt open its eyes, you should rush it to the vet. There may be something wrong such a brain tumor!

Our friends puppys are Labradors, and they opened their eyes when they where exactly 2 weeks old.

With in the 2nd to 3rd week They will open their eyes. Tryu not to give them too much sun light for this can hurt their little eyes. Congrats on the new pups.
