Goats can get Hardware Disease, but it is rare. This is because goats are discriminating eaters compared to cattle, i.e. goats nibble and chew their food while cattle bite and swallow.
Have a local veterinarian give your goat a good physical exam and let them run a few tests, e.g. blood work and fecal float. Goats can go down for many reasons, a common one is having a heavy parasite load.
A good expression to remember for diagnosis: when you hear hoove beats look for a horse not a zebra. In other words, common diseases happen commonly.
Good luck with your goat!

It seems that the disease is usually mentioned in association with cattle, but it has to do with swallowing a sharp object, so if a goat can swallow a sharp object, I imagine that it could get something similar. I would reccomend consulting a veterenarian.
