Yahoo has set a limit on number of answers, why???

Has this always been this way? Do we have to get to 5000 points to have unlimited use of answers? Why? Do you think Yahoo has change to much to fast?

Read the Terms of Service for Yahoo Answers. It has always had a question limit until you reach a certain level, then you can answer unlimited questions. And why not? It was designed to encourage people to answer, not the stupid, senseless answers we often get, and not with the current bot driving everyone crazy this morning, but, oh well, I'm stopping here. I think I'm wasting my time trying to explain.

I heard, darth vadar is very strict. Answers most likely is a job,

for some counsellor level office people. Posting to another

person then reorganizing the answer to give to a client. This

would be legally under contract rules such as usage of public

computer space, work hour limits, service agreements. So

maybe at the higher level it is a ruling. Sites that do not limit

have had crashes due to excessive public use and rumors of free advice in professional, technical, and medical areas.

I started on YA in late July. Now I'm at level 5 where I can ask and answer unlimited times. I still can only vote so many times a day, however.

If you spend enough time on here, you can start going up levels before you know it.

Don't waste time asking questions like this. Just keep plugging away!

Yes I had to wait until I got to level 5 to answer unlimites questions. It's been that way for the year that they have been around.

because they are trying to make it fair for everyone to get some points and so they set a limit to let EVERYONE get some!

because they don't want you to get to level 7 in a day and all of the stuff they get, and because they don't want to overload the website
