Brother whatever your name is, it is evident you lack common sense. The MCAT is the exam one must take to GET INTO med school, not to get your ph.d.....

It depends on what type of medical profession you are looking into. Before med school there are tests like MCAT, or DCAT, etc. But to become a doctor I believe you must pass the USMLE exam. You need to pass this test in order to get your license. It is broken up in three parts, 1st part is taken after your second year, 2nd after your 4th year, and third part taken after your internship. yes, in fact after your 1st four years of school in your junior year of college in April, i think is when u will 1st take the MCAT. the test is given in April and August yearly. (kaplan.com will help u to prepare for it and any other career) This test only decides whether or not you will get into med school, depending on your results. This test is extremely hard, but that doesn't mean you can't pass it. GPA is a big factor as well as your service and commitments to organizations. Therefore don't major in premedicine but take classes that will lead you to being a doctor. Med schools aren't looking for students who major in premedicine or a science (biology, etc.). They are looking for a well rounded student. Majoring in premed or in a science does not improve your chances of getting in. I just found this out and now I'm undecided with a major. You want to major in something that you can use, just in case you change your mind or don't get accepted just yet. Once you do pass the MCAT, as a doctor you will be administered with a test every 7 years. You have to pass this test to be a doctor. i don't know the name of the test, but it tells whether or not you will stay a doctor.

There are several tests you need to take during medical school to get your MD. One such test is the Clinical Skills Exam (also known as Step 2) given by the National Board of Medical Examiners (http://www.amsa.org/meded/nbme.cfm). Typically there are also exams you must pass at the end of each year (board exams) to move onto the next year.

Your liver is going to love you. perchance you'll leap decrease back quicker. in case you do not, do no longer hardship. merely be affected individual and promises it your time. I doubt you may have any everlasting damage carried out after in effortless words 5 years. it could be rather not likely.

Doctors have to be licensed by the state. They usually take up a specialization where they become board certified to practice a certain field. Depending on the state, they may not have to have board certification to practice that field.
