American Staffordshire Bull Terrier is the correct name and Labordor Retriver. Both are high in energy, require lots of socialization with other dogs, kids & people! Basic training and on going training are necessary for any well behaved dog!
Best of wishes!

I read somewhere that the breed it most resembles will be the breed it acts like. So if it looks more Labby, it'll act more like a lab than a Staffie and vice versa. The difficult thing about mixed breeds is that it's harder to predict what kind of habits, learning abilities, etc your dog will have. I'd do a little research on both breeds, because your dog will probably display some traits from both.
By the way, I absolutely adore Am-Staffs. Sounds like you got yourself a pretty neat dog!

All you have to do is go by the labrador training criteria because both breeds are just as smart and loyal. Have fun with your darling. Type Labrador training tips in a search engine
