Can people track down where you are when using an IP adress?

i mean using a wireless connection. can people see where and who you are? what can they do with the IP adress if they can't?

    im sure computer geeks can. if you dont kno how to you can always give it to a comp expert (usually not legit) and they can get it for u. sorry no privacy nowadays
