You would actually need an two adaptors and a converter depending on whether or not your battery charger is dual voltage. [Most laptops are automatically dual voltage.]
Peru has two different types of outlets; outlets like ours and outlets like Western Europe (2 round pins). Some of their outlets are 220 V, some are 120 V.
America operates on a 120 V system, so when our appliances travel overseas, we usually need a converter to step down the electricity to one that our 120 V appliances can handle.
You will be able to see if your battery charger is dual voltage (designed for both 120V and 220V) by looking on the FCC panel on the back of the charger. If it says 110-220 (basically, as long as it goes up to 200 or above), then it is dual voltage and all you need is the adaptor for Western Europe-- 2 round pins. If it isn't dual voltage, then you would need a 50 W Converter, a North Amercian Adaptor (two horizantial straight pins), and a Western Europe adaptor.

The previous answer is not exactly true. Peru has both 120 and 220 electricity. If you try to us a 120 appliance with a 220 voltage you may have problems. If you stay in the nicer hotels, you will probably see 120, otherwise I would buy a 220 to 120 converter/adapter.
