We, the humans have a social need to share. Y! A provides a perfectly anonymous place to pour our hearts out. I am not sure if we use these answers to find a solution for life's problems. But at least it gets that "heavy feeling" off some body's chest. To that extent, Y!A is successful.

There is no doubt that there are some jerks on here who ask stupid questions and give stupid answers, but there are also plenty who are desparately seeking the truth. I've learned a lot by participating in YA, and I hope I've helped others by giving what I think is good advice.

People ask for advice and we give ours. That doesn't mean they have to take it. I am sure they want to see what other people think to rate it or weigh it to what their family and friends think. This sometimes helps the younger groups realize that maybe their parents aren't being mean...maybe they are looking out for their best interest. I just give my advice. I don't expect anyone to take it. They have a mind...they have ears and eyes...they have a heart. I think it helps to hear what other feel.

If they don't take notice of my answers...it is their choice.

I think a lot of people only want to hear what they think rather than what is good for them.

Those are hopeless cases...and out of 12 answers...one is bound to be what they want to hear...because they are not alone in the stupidity department.

I think that sometimes when you get somebody elses opinion it helps a person know what they themselves really think inside. I think sometimes the purpose of asking others about things is to clarify our own thoughts and that this is the only true value of advice.

i try only to preach of what i know but i also pinch many ideas from others,,about sex,talking,things to do,,all sorts really,,,who here can say they know it all and if they do,,they must have read it all on here because people learn from experience and sometimes it can be someone elses.

no matter what we hear from others, we still go with what our mind is up to. a lot of times we already made the decision, we just want approval from others, so it makes us feel better....well...at least i am...

i can say that all here in ym answers gave me strenght and comfort for what i habe through...all their advices help me in some point to be strong..some of them related in my stories..im not depend of what the answers of my questions,for me its helping me to ease what i feels inside...thats why im thanking all of them...take care and godbless
