Cannabis is a psychoactive drug produced from parts of the Cannabis sativa plant, primarily the cured flowers and gathered trichomes of the female plant ("bud") (as well as the less psychoactive remains of the plant, and its highly psychoactive resin.) The major active chemical compound Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol, commonly referred to as THC, has psychoactive and medicinal effects when consumed, usually by smoking or ingestion. Humans have been consuming cannabis since prehistory, though in the 20th century there was a rise in the use of cannabis for recreational and religious purposes. At the beginning of the 21st century, it is estimated that cannabis is used by four per cent of the world's adult population each year, making cannabis more popular than all other illicit drugs combined.[1] The possession, use, or sale of psychoactive cannabis products became illegal in most parts of the world in the early 20th century. Since then, while some countries have intensified the enforcement of cannabis prohibition, others have reduced the priority of enforcement to the point of tolerating consumption. The supplying of cannabis remains illegal almost everywhere in the world through the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs, the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances, and the 1988 United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, while simple possession of small quantities is tolerated in a few countries.

A weed is a plant that is considered to be a nuisance in a garden or other agricultural development. The notion of what constitutes a weed is almost entirely in the eye of the beholder. A weed in one situation might be a wildflower in another. For example, dandelions are widely viewed as weeds, but some consider them attractive flowers. Some weeds are edible, and their leaves and roots may be utilized for food or herbal medicine. It is typically necessary for a plant to grow easily and spread persistently to be considered a weed, because plants which need to be carefully nurtured are easily removed.
In order to improve weed growth, many "weed enhance" strategies have been developed in order to ensure the growth and spreading of weed. The most basic is haze, which gets you high as hell . Today, chemical weed enhancers are widely used. Modern herbicides such as glyphosate are designed to leave no traceable residue in blood stream, although the surfactants can be detrimental to watercourses. But these often have a bad effect on wildlife as farmers overuse it and it can get in water supply. In domestic gardens, methods of weed control include covering an area of ground with several layers of wet newspaper. More info in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weed
