Well the original DJ is Grandmaster Flash but DJ Master J is great also!! So the one who is responsible would be Grandmaster Flash.

Grandmaster Flash was out before Jam Master J but Jam Master J was an actual DJ. Back in the day they used DJ and MC for titles but not all spin records.
