make-up to cover pimple scars?

i get a lot of red, painful pimples especially on my cheeks, no foundation seems to work,i also have scars left by them, what could i use to evenly cover them up without looking too white or too much. i live in dubai, so a brand available here would be of great help, i want something professional and that really works in covering scars.

i know that this is from the same brand that you use but i use MAC's select cover up. and honestly it works great. i have the same issues where i have red spots and scars on my face from my earlier stages of acne and i just went in and they recomended it to me and seriously it works wonders. it makes me look as if ive never had acne before. it comes in a pretty small container and i just use it sparingly and apply with a brush and used under my powder. hope i helped!

To stop the breakouts from happening you need to get into a normal routine when it comes to washing your face. For example, the Proactiv Solution. A cleanser, toner, and repair lotion. You can also get (basically) the same thing at walmart, you just need a cleanser, toner and moisterizer. You need to use a good concealer. I have a few acne scars on my cheeks and found that Hard Candy's Out-Damn Spot Concealer is great! Just apply and blot (don't rub). Also the "green" concealer would work too (as someone posted above). That COVERS the scars. To minimize the appearance of the scars over time, you would use something made to minimize the appearance over time, not to cover it up. Proactiv makes a pretty good acne scar minimizer. You can also look into something like mederma at walmart., If nothing works, see a dermatologist!

I don't know if there is MAC in Dubai, but I do that you can order it on line. MAC concealer is totally kick ***, and if it works for me, it will work for you. Then cover it with MAC powder foundation, and you're good to go. It comes in all shades, and is only about 12 bucks each. It will last a long time, so its totally worth it. I had severe poison ivy when I was young, and had lots of scars. And don't forget to use scar gel everyday after you remove your make-up. Even if the scars are from years ago, the gel will help reduce there appearance after using it for only a couple of days!

Lorac has a great line for all skin colors. You can get Lorac from Sephora. It's great for spacific application, meaning if you just want to cover certain spots, and not apply makeup to your WHOLE face, Lorac is good for that. Make sure you use a concealer brush rather than a sponge or finger tips. The brush will give you more precise coverage using less concealer.

First, get rid of the ones you have, buy something like the ProActive treatment available online....then, to hide the red scars you have to apply green makeup....I know this sounds stupid, but you first put the green makeup on the problem spots then you cover your whole face with regular foundation and Voila! No more unsightly red spots.....

Dermablend would work well for you, I think. However, it takes time and patience to master putting it on so that you do not end up looking cakey. A thought, though - perhaps you ought to consult with a good dermatologist in order to have the problem treated. Putting on complete-coverage foundation on them may exacerbate the problem.

First you need to get rid of the pimples instead of just covering them up because that ain't going to do nothing and the pimples or still going to be there. So use something like ProActive or use a good toner and cleanser to fet rid of the pimples and when they or gone use something like coco-butter to evenly tone your skin. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!
