What was the point to another Edge vs Cena for the title?

good question! we all knew what would happen kinda we knew that orton would come out and do something to cena which happened and some people probably knew that dx was going to come out

It was a great match, as Cena vs. Edge usually is. It was all about building the story lines for New Years Revolution. The only thing that sucked about it was that you knew they wouldn't let Cena lose the title before New Years Revolution, though they did do a good job of making you wonder for a moment. The match set up the main event that helped intensify the rivalry of Umaga and Cena, as well as blow the roof off the RatedRKO and DX rivalry. The New Years Revolution pay-per-view in Kansas City still hasn't sold out so they are trying to sell more tickets. They only have the show on New Years day left to build the rivalries since next Monday is Christmas and they are showing the Tribute to the Troops show on that day.

Raw was on for 3 hours on Monday night. At the beginning there was a Royal Rumble match. 30 men from Raw competing against each other. The winner gets John Cena later that night. During the Royal Rumble Edge left the ring but didnt go over the ropes and he waited until the last guy was standing. The last guy was Shawn Micheals and Edge came back outside the ropes and forced Shawn over the ropes by his neck. Edge became winner. John Cena went onto win his title back.

Becuase they work well in the ring togather. They put on a good match/. Plust to set up the Main Event of Umaga Rated RKo v.s Dx and Cena. USA made them do a 3 hour raw becuase they iddnt have anything to fill the time slot before actually raw. Thats y they had to have a battle royal and crap to fillin the time.

because Edge is a insane idoit that cannot stand anyone else to have the wwe belt but him especially John Cena.

theres not enough story writers and no good stories and alot of the stories that u wish could happen wont cause once they happen and are over with, then no other writen story line can beat the past one so they would become like WCW did and slowly die out
