I suspect a vacuum line has come undone or is not maintaining the vacuum.

ok a number of those adult men or 1/2 way precise. appears like your move case is kicking in you've a swap on your the front end it isn't vacume operated that is electrical powered. in certain circumstances you may pull them out and tap on them and get it operating again in certain circumstances you won't be able to. they or no longer that severe priced obtainable at maximum quto parts shops.

could be the servo that engages the transfer case in a different gear.could also be your switch in the dash thats bad, or a wire somewhere between the two
