If I send an email with flash embedded in it, will Microsoft-based recipients have a problem viewing?

I'm getting mixed answers on whether older systems (ie without XP installed) will have a problem viewing.

You might try sending the e-mail to one or two people and see if they can get it okay before sending it to everyone.

All that is required is that they have Macromedia Flash (now Adobe flash since they bought them) installed on the computer. There is one caveat, though! If the flash file was created using a newer version of flash than the one they have downloaded, then they will need to upgrade their flash player.

Easy to do, though, just direct them to:

It might be a good idea to just include a link to the download site if you frequently add flash content to your e-mails, with a little heads-up note, like, "If you can't see this movie, go here..."

New or old systems, as long as it has the software to read flash code there should not be any problems
