What's the difference between contolling someone and guiding them?

are you simply giving advice or trying to force them to take it?

The difference between controll and guiding it's apparently big.To guide someone it's mean to give your best experience that can help in honestly way.To controll someone it's mean to satisfy your desire and to constrain the freedom of speaking and doing things ine their own way.

Controlling is you making the decisions...guiding is you making suggestions or giving input that will possibly steer them in the direction you feel is appropriate...

But what does this have to do with Singles & Dating?

Controlling is making someones every move and every decision and guiding someone is helping them with problems and making suggestions.

controlling would be when you are telling them what to do, and maping out everything they are going to do........guiding them is to tell them their options, give them advice about what to do...and support them with what ever they dicide
