What does Salem, MA look like?

Any detail you have are great. It's the setting in a book I'm writing, but it's not possible for me to visit. Size, atmosphere, and scenery details are all great - thanks!

Well, a lot of Salem is set up for tourists. . .The Witch Museum, little shops, restaurants, etc. Also, it's very close to the shore and is a fairly small town. Probably a pretty standard New England city. I'm sure the city has a website where you could get actual pictures, or history. And I know at local stores they sell tons of books about what the towns used to look like, etc and show how the evolved. Maybe try searching to buy one of those to go with your story. Best of luck!

Why not google for images of Salem, MA. It's has a bay area, (Salem Willows) with neat shops and restaurants. It's pretty congetsted as a city would be with two family homes, single family homes...not a huge city, but a city just the same. Only about 15 miles north of Boston.

Sounds interesting...good luck on your book!
