8 weeks preg. & I get cramps when I cough, normal?

When i cough and bear down a little i get a momentary cramp. could this just be the round ligaments stretching? anyone else have this. thanks

    It sounds normal to me. I had cramps when I was pregnant, as long as they're not really painful, don't worry. If they're getting worse go to the dr just in case-you'll feel so much better knowing things are ok. Just wait until you pee when you cough! That's when things get interesting!!

    Yes because muscles that are not normally stretched or used to placement on normal coughing are stretching so it is very common. But mention it to your doctor on next visit. Good luck...and congratulations

    NOT BEING FUNNY BUT I REALLY DID HAVE A PICTURE PERFECT PREGNANCY! NOT EVEN ANY MORNING SICKNESS HA HA (LUCKY ME!) BUT UMM I NEVER HAD OR HEARD OF CRAMPS WHEN COUGHING ! U SHOULD TALK TO UR DOCTOR GIRL! IT COULD BE ANYTHING SO MANY THINGS CAN GO WRONG WITH A PREGNANCY.. LAY ON UR SIDE NOT STOMACHE TRY NOT TO WORRY EAT VERY HEALTHY DRINK SO MUCH WATER! VITAMINS FRUITS VEGGIES! U KNOW....WELL BE SAFE AND CONGRATULATIONS MOMMY! = )

    whem i was pregnant i'm experiencing cramps but not everytime I cough, it's not typically normal but everyone has diff. body

    Its your uterus growing. I had pains in my lower left side for weeks.
