what does 9/8c means?

In the UK *pulls out cell phone to check world clock*...If you are in London, that would mean that it comes on at 2. If your 9/8c is AM, it would be 2 PM if you live in London. If your 9/8c is PM, it would be 2 AM in London. I'm not sure if the entire UK is in the same time zone or not, but maybe this will help.

In America it means it starts at 9 pm eastern time, and 8 pm central time (the next time zone over)

9 usually refers to eastern usa time, the 8c is 8 central usa time. There are three different time zones in the americas pacific central and eastern.

It airs at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (New York and East Coast) and 8 p.m. Central Time (Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas). The show will not be delayed for an hour in these two time zones. You should base your viewing time on New York's and add/subtract accordingly.

I'd just like to correct the idiot who said that there are 3 time zones in America...there are actually 4 time zones.....Eastern, Central, Pacific, and MOUNTAIN.

That means it airs at 9pm, but 8pm in the central time zone. It's all american time zones that it refers to.

Maybe it means 1.125% the speed of light!
