WHY cant we DELETE our ACCOUNTS if we WISH?

I have another account which I would like to DELETE quite simply because its name is private. Yes, I have changed its name but anyone right now who searched my name in GOOGLE, gets to see it under its old name, and all the topics I asked about?! Thats not NICE! I many of us would like to be able to DELETE our ACCOUNTS, including all INFORMATION we SUBMITTED! I'm not the only one concerned, this matter has been brought up AGAIN and AGAIN in every possible way. The ANSWERS TEAM just copy and paste their useal message, DELETE YOUR ENTIRE YAHOO ACCOUNT!!! I know that the ANSWERS TEAM have received thousands of complaints regarding this. WHAT NOW?

Well you can not delete your account from a phone book either, so why make such a fuss ? And if you are ashamed of what you previously posted, next time be a little bit more sensible in your Q and A !!

Send an email to Yahoo help or something.

Or just go on and insult a lot of people and get them to report you many times.

Asking this QUESTION to US won't help MATTERS. Contact Yahoo!ANSWERS (if you CAN find out HOW) and ask them DIRECTLY.

Typing like THIS is actually QUITE fun.

You could always use your old account to grossly violate TOS, and they will delete it for you.

This is in the wrong category.

Why is this in Religion and Spirituality again?
