Why is racism still occurring in a world that is suppose to be united as one!?

The world has never been united as one about anything. There are tons of things still occurring that shouldn't be. Poverty, genocide, war.

The world is shrinking due to communication technology, but that doesn't mean we're any closer to getting rid of racism. In fact, it makes us more aware of the rascism that already exists because now we can come into contact with people from other cultures that we wouldn't have met otherwise.

We are far from correcting any of society's ills.

In a perfect world, we want it to no longer exist.

All of us are in need of acceptance. I, being one of the minorities, do see that it still exist. As being a quiet people that we are, we speak less of it. We just simply try our best to do our part to better the community - not being a racist.

Someday, people would understand. That's my hope.

Whoever said the world is united...just because it's linked doesn't make it united or agreeing at all...that's just a wrong assumption...

Globalisation and multiculturalism. Plus, people are just stubborn by nature.

Because people are morons.
