What kind of electric guitar pickup is good for metal?

I'm looking at EMGs but im not sure which one to get!

also, is a dimebucker good for metal as well?

    I would strongly urge Gibson "dirty fingers" pickups...very high output....I feel they are the best on the market for metal music! Check out the Gibson website for sound clips or www.musiciansfriend.com for more info! BURP!!!
