why are all relationships based on a give and take situation?

Ideally one can only be happy in a relationship if they stop expecting from the other person and do what they want to do for that person. If you can love someone this way, you wouldn't ask this question!

But practically it never happens.... as we always expect the same (or more) from the ones we love.

The word " Give and Take " means tolerance,mutual understanding, flexibility, fair and justice. If a relationship which base on pure love, friendship and relationship, how does all of these will exist and created ? If you do not have a feeling of tolerance, how would you cultivate a friendship ? How would you create a relationship ? How would you ever get the feeling of pure love? As such, you need to give and take to create a relationship and start to make friend and eventually, if you could get along well with each other, you may also fall in love with each other. And if your love ends till death then your love will be considered as pure love.

I do not believe all relationship are for "give and take". Love and friendship are surely one of them. May be you have always indulged in a relationship of give and take. You get in return what you give. If you build a relationship with out expecting a return you will get one. Just find some good love and Friend who is in need and help him/her with out expecting anything in return you will know how satisfying that is.

see in todays world one shouldn't expect this from everyone....

bcoz when we r in a relationship dont we feel that we shud get something from the opposite person n the opposite person too expects the same...........

the thing is u cant always keep on giving nor can ukeep on taking one day u ll get irritated by urself......

if it ll happen so then it ll be one side relation

so it is necessary that it shud be give n take relationship

Give and take is compromise in life with your partner instead of saying my way or highway.We may try to fool others that we do not want any thing in return,but in reality we do not want to give and give in our lives.After a while love starts fading and realities of life come in front of us.

it is not that every relation is on give and take situation, still millions of peaple have heart to heart frequency..like me with my love.
