How do you get Floam to work?

I was stupid enough to buy this crap today at Michael's... it was cheap, I was seduced by the dumb commercials, etc. I don't know. Anyway, I can already tell it sucks. And I just read online reviews about how horrible it is.

But still, can someone tell me, how do you actually get it into the condition so that you can mold it into shapes? Right now it's disgusitng and goopy. I mixed it up, but it's still not right. What do I need to do?

I had the same problem, Heres what i did:

Flatten out the floam then beat it with a hammer or meat tenderizer for 5 minutes. By then the floam will be less goopy and more capable of molding.

    Sounds crazy but it works!!!

Yeah - floam does kind of suck. Maybe you could try adding a small amount of flour to the stuff. That way it will be a little less goopy. Just make sure to do it over a table and keep it away from carpets at all costs.

  • I agree My cousin was anxious to play with it and it got every where we spent like frever working on it if beating the crapp of it doesn't work then take a pinh of it and just squish it then squishit then etc sounds odd yes but it worked for us
