My sister married my ex, is it ok to talk to him about it?

I dated this man for almost a year and half and we were madly in love and even discussed getting married. We broke up almost two years ago and a few weeks ago, my younger sister and him eloped. I've gotten over the weirdness and my sister and I are good. But her husband (my ex) and I never got the chance to talk about this, like debrief how weird this will be from now until forever. I no longer have feelings for him, for I'm with a great guy now. Naturally, my sister is uncomfortable with us talking. Is it ok do you think?

The time to talk about it would've been when they started dating.  It's over and done with now, he's moved on and you say you have also, so there's nothing to discuss.  He's no longer your ex, btw, he's your bil and you should start thinking about him that way.  The fact that you still refer to him as your ex may be the reason why your sister is not comfortable with you talking to him.

I don't really think you should say anything other than "welcome to the family!"  It's only weird if you act like it's weird, and if you're genuinely okay about it, let it go, and don't make a fuss over it.  If you treat him like a normal brother-in-law, that's what he'll be.
