Does your misfortune show you who are not really friends?

Normally the answer would be yes, it does. But upon giving it some thought, I find that it truly depends on the 'maturity' of your friends. Often those who might not act their age during a friends crisis only means that they are not any more adept at handing chaos that the hurting person, similar to not being able to comfort those who have experienced an unexpected death.
Some people cannot deal with hospitals, the disabled, etc. simply because they lack enough emotional experience to get them over the 'rough spots'. Real friends are so hard to come by in our world, if only one 'sticks' during and after the misfortune, consider yourself extremely lucky, and remember that being a friend requires you to be one back.

definite.I even have 2 people who've been constants in my existence;they have been there in the path of the thick and the skinny. they have considered me at my terrific and at my worst,and that they the two love me dearly.words are uncomplicated yet movements talk louder than words.

Always..You might be surprised..But don't lean on your true friends too much or they will become your ex-friends.
