    From Mass Wildlife:

"Foxes are usually shy and wary but they are also curious. Activity is variable; they can be active night or day and sightings at dusk or dawn are common. They remain active all year and do not hibernate. Foxes actively maintain territories. These areas may vary from 2 to 7 square miles."

That's both red & grey fox, by the way.

What species? some hibernate on the drop of a hat- a pair cool nights and that they are out. Others by no skill hibernate, and something fall someplace in-between. If the tortoise hibernates interior the wild, this is going to hibernate as much because it needs to in keeping with temps and easy-weight cycles. it may want some closer supervision to make constructive this is positive, yet as long as you provide it of undertaking, this is going to take it if it desires it.
