Yahoo Messenger ID Log in problem?
I've been having trouble logging in using a particular yahoo id for days now,it wouldn't give me any error like 'wrong password' etc but it just wouldn't LOG IN. Along with that each time I try to sign in again using the same ID a YAHOO MAIL page opens asking me to sign in to yahoo mail. Days ago i was able to log in after a few attempts but since last night I totally wasn't able to log in anymore until today :(. Does anyone have any idea what happened to my yahoo id?I just can't access it anymore(i need my contacts there), there is NO WAY i forgot my password so I really dont know whats wrong. Also, we tried DIFFERENT id's like my brother's ym id and he was able to log in as well as other id's so its just my ID that's having trouble signing in. Your answers will be appreciated. Thanks

The main reason probably is Yahoo has be updating for the last week or so. Yahoo! are always acting weird and I remember them when it was pre-yahoo just before the geocities-yahoo merger - YAHOO! PROBLEMS. I don't even let my students put messenger on their computers because they would be having to many problems all the time.
Also if you login using two different names, but same passwords. Like yourrealname passwordx and your fakename passwordx where you used to be able to sign in with either name and click login. Now you must retype the password every time - even if it is exactly the same.
Next make sure Menu Messenger/Preferences/General is checked to automatically sign me in when i click a Yahoo! link in messenger. Then you won't have to put in your id when you go to email from messenger.

cunning i had this issues too as quickly as I downloaded the recent yahoo messenger in simple terms turn off your firewall reinstall the recent yahoo messenger whilst its finished downloading examine in on your messenger and then turn your firewall back on it in basic terms ought to be off the 1st time you examine in to the recent "more desirable" yahoo. For some reason some firewalls do no longer believe some greater moderen courses first time wish this facilitates you out

i wonder about it myself....
first i thought it has something to do with the site
but then when i open my other email account, the logging in was a success
but when i tried again with my other email add,
it just got me confused
