You can copy and either paste the program's folder on to either a removable hard drive or flash drive (USB drive), or burn it to a disc, then copy it on to your home computer.
However, if you have the original install disc, or the install file, it is highly recommended you do a clean install on your home computer, as some programs do not only install their components into one location; it may have placed many of files throughout your computer to integrate it into Windows. This may also result in some legality issues (though if no one knows, no one cares, right? *wink wink*).
If you do not have an install disc, you may want to ask someone at your work for one (supervisor, tech guy, etc.).
Good luck!

Easiest way is to buy a cheape external usb drive, which is self installing on win 2000 or later. Plug the drive in the usb slot, and save your file or program to that drive, then disable the usb device ( a mere click on the toolbar once it is installed automatically) and remove the usb drive cord from one computer and plug it into the other one.
Then it will install on the other computer (if you have win 2000 or later) and you can grab the file or move the program merely using windows explorer just like you work with all your other files on the computer.
If you don't wanna carry the usb drive to work though then you could FTP the program to a website you might have, then when you got home download it from there back into your home computer.
FTP requires administer priveledges to be able to set it up though, so at work that might not be viable for you unless you have that priveledge given you on your job.
Some companies might not even want you carrying in an external usb drive either, but you could always sneak in a little small flash drve and use that.
Tiger direct has a media player drive (flash usb drive) small enough to easily sneak into work, and with a 1 gig capacity, which probably would be big enougfh for what you are trying to do. ANyway they have one on sale right now until Dec 31st, for $9 after rebate. But be advised that's a real pain cuz you havta pay $49 PLUS FREIGHT in order to get it, then wait two months or so to get two separate $20 rebates from two different coupons you have to fill out. But if you like coupons, and waiting all that time to get your money back, thats not a bad deal.

You can't do that. For one, it is physically impossible because you have to reinstall the program in your home computer. Two, the program that you use at work is licensed for your employer for commercial purposes. It is not yours to take home because the program belongs to your employer. You have to buy the program from the store/ on line, and then you can install it in your computer. Some commercial setups have a network with a server and client terminals that can operate the program that is installed in the server. For this, you need a network and the proper licenses to run the sophware in that fashion (not to mention setting up your server to do just that).

The Copy command comes to mind. But I'd suggest trying to burn it to CD or DVD RW media.

You don't. You have to install it on the other one with the original installer (probably on a CD)
