Sounds as though the girl is being pretty selfish....regardless of what the parents want, the child has the right to know who it's father is...

While it is believable that the girl didn't know she was pregnant until 4 months along, it isn't believable that she refuses visitation between father and child and refuses a dna test. i say the father is smart for wanting a dna test and will pay child support through state. Girls are sneaky and sounds like this one is. A guy shouldn't marry a girl just because he knocks her up. The girl is lucky enough that he wants to be apart of this childs life and is willing to pay support when so many are not. This girl sounds like she is jealous and playing stupid games. Grow up.

Go to court. He has rights as a potential father and can get a court-ordered DNA test done.

As far as the baby situation, they were both stupid. Too many people don't think before they have sex. Just being a sex buddy can cause serious issues, as he now knows. I think its great that he's been there for the kid. I think its possible that she didn't know she was preggy. I've known women that honestly didn't have a clue until they went in for a regular check-up and were surprised with the information. As far as visitation, if the DNA test comes back to his favour, I think its very possible he can get visitation. But first he needs to speak to a lawyer or call the courthouse and find out how to get that DNA test started.

could be a few things:

1) girl doesn't want guy to have any legal rights to the child. so, she doesn't want to take dna test.

2) girl knows that the child is not his.

Either way a dna test needs to be administered. She has no right to refuse. Get a lawyer on this one.

well if girl wasn't being a wh ore then girl shouldn't have no problem with giving guy dna test guy would be totally stupid if he pays for kid he doesn't know is his girl should have made guy use protection so girl wouldn't be feeling all fu ck ed up now with a child to raise alone just because guy used girl for a c*u*m* bucket doesn't mean girl had to lay there and be the mattress maybe girl needs to learn that love isn't about guy busting nut inside of her and the next girl and girl must have thought she had a trap laid for guy but guy showed girl the real deal hopefully girl will get her act together and learn how to love self and not guy if girl name is Mary kerney and baby name is Michael and so call daddy is Eric lee this is realist lol get a life

Get a lawyer. Move back into state. Lawyer can force DNA test but make sure you're paying support while it is going on. Get your name on that birth certificate once testing is done if its not already. And yes - 4 months could be believable! And be very very very nice and wonderful. Otherwise you are putting your child AND your new fiance in a horribly awkward, messy and emotionally horrible place.

The guy should take her to court. Just like Anna Nicole, she had to provide a DNA test odered by the court. It's the law. He has a right to know even if he was a jerk at 1st.And there is no way that girl didn't let 4 missed periods just slip her mind.

I think in all states, DNA tests cannot be refused by either party. I would contact the local Child Support Enforcement Unit and request paternity establishment. Or take her to court.

I am with the rest of the others sounds like she has nothing but something to hide in now wanted DNA test. I would insist on it and take her silly bum to court to get one ordered. She will have to comply with a judge or the state will raise that baby until she gets out of the slammer.

Your wording made this difficult to completely understand, but bottom line is that if HE is being named the father of this baby and if there is any uncertainty, he has a LEGAL right to order a DNA test to prove he is the father. If this comes back that he is, he will then also have LEGAL rights for visitation, etc. She (mother) can't refuse. You need proof and then legal documentation proving rights.

She's irresponsible and evil. Seems that she got pregnant just to keep the guy or get money.

He has all rights to demand DNA test and visitation rights through the state.
