Don't you hate it when you call someone and they talk "in code" to you?

Called a friend a bit ago, and he talked "in code" because his parents were close. Come on---we've been friends for 5 1/2 years. I'm offended...would you be?

Nah...his parents were around. Maybe I'd feel annoyed from trying to figure out the code, but not offended. It wasn't personal. In fact, you could always look at it like this: you and the guy are close enough to where you can talk in a code you both understand. If you had your parents over your shoulder, would you tell your deepest secrets?

Not at all. I'm an amateur radio operator and I talk with people all across the globe using Morse code. It's great.

i wouldn't be offended. sometimes code is fun. is he doing it because you were talking about something he didnt want his parents to hear? don't worry about it; it's an easy problem to fix.

If you are "JUST" friends why is he talking in code. I think you should answer that first. Life is short don't sweat the small stuff.
