will my manual focus lenses for my nikon F301 fit onto a nikon F55?

    Your manual lenses will mount on the camera but chances are they will not work nor will your camera work with these lenses mounted. When Nikon went to AF, the only cameras that I know for sure that will still work with the MF lenses are : N90s, N90 F4,F5, F100. And these cameras only will work in "A" mode. I know for sure the N65 will not work with MF lenses. good luck.

    Nikon cameras are the only camera company in the world that have kept to the same lens mount for all their SLR cameras so any lens from any Nikon will fit on another Nikon you will just loose some of the cameras features like auto focus and apeture selection.

    Don't worry. It will be fixed on F55.But you have to use the Manual mode.I doubt the other modes will make complication except the A mode.
