I just got an ipod for christmas and was wondering what to do with it first?
I know you have to go on to itunes but do you have to download something first, and is there any way to get free downloads from other sites?

there is such a thing as limewire...people say it's legal but I doubt it.
I hope you also know that you can just put cd's in the drive and press import cd when you are in iTunes, it is in the bottem left corner.
Another way to get songs is the iTunes Store which you can use redeemable gift cards to buy music or enter in a credit card number.

The best thing to do is to add your favorite songs onto the ipod so you do not use up all the memory on your ipod with usless stuff
