can ie7 work with ie6?

a pc sharing a dialup connection is running ie6. another pc shares the connection running ie7? is browsing possible?

    Yes you can do it provided you've configured the two PCs and the proxy server correctly. You can do it without any hassles.

    Yes it can. Your dialup connection is not dependent on your browser, or even your Operating System (with correct drivers). You can also even run multiple browsers on the same PC, so you can have for example IE6 and Firefox both running on the same PC at the same time. It is even possible to run both IE6 and IE7 on the same PC, if you download a standalone IE6 from Evolt
