Yup, no bill, just pay before you use them. The phone won't come with $70 of airtime. Much less... you have to pay for the phone itself. T-Mobile and Alltel are the best values in prepaid and have the best coverage as well nationwide since they let you roam for free on other carriers' networks where they don't have service.

My cousin has a go phone and I believe it's where you pay a certain amount of money which is equivalent to a certain amount of minutes. Like $70 of minutes to use up. The phone tells you how much money you have left to use up. Then when your minutes run out its either you refill by paying with a credit card or with cash. I'm not so sure about a bill being sent to your house but if you are the one registering the phone then you can change the address to somewhere else if they are going to send a bill. I hope this helps!

The Cingular/At&t Go phone is really good. It has the option of paying for minutes or you can enroll in a plan- x amount of minutes per month plus free nights and weekends. No credit check or contract. You have to have a credit card but they make those prepaid credit cards so you can reload those at the beginning of the month with cash. You don't get a bill either, it is all done automatically.

It's a rip off. Your better off not going over your minutes on your Mom's plan and giving her some money to get you some more minutes. I bought my friend one and I ended up spendning like $125.00 by the time I was out the door. This was right after Thanksgiving with all the sales!!!!!! Crazy huh! but true. I guess they do have cheaper versions but here's an example of why I say ripoff. If you buy $25.00 in minutes. Just using your phone once in one day you are charged $1.00. That's aside from the amount of minutes you use. So if you us your phone ten times in ten days and make calls guess what all your minutes are gone and ten of those dollars went towards the fee to use the Servers. I think they were designed more for people with bad credit and children but it's a rip off. Don't do it in my opinion. '-)

Pay as you go is works like pre-paid minutes. My husband and I got a pay as you go cell phone but don't use it anymore. All you have to do is pay a certain amount like $15 to $100.00 I believe and you got a certain amount of days to get it refiled before it expires. It works like pre-paid. You ethier go to cingular stores to refil or call the custom center on the cell phone. It's not all that great but it's perfect for teens. Oh and no monthly bills to pay.

you buy your phone. you buy your minutes. you use your minutes until you use them up, or they expire. then your phone doesn't work any more. then you buy more minutes. repeat, repeat.
