Where do all my calories go ?
ok.....for example if i eat say...1000 calories and go to sleep then wake up where do they go ?
in the morning when i wake up do i start with 0 (zero) calories in my body
just a question i thought i would ask

Any excess calories (more than you need to maintain your weight) is stored as body fat, unless you are on a very demanding workout program. In which case extra calories will increase you lean muscle mass. You always have lots and lots of calories in your body because every pound of body fat represents 3500 calories.

Your body is a breathing living machine. Without calories you would no longer be. Just to breath air your body burns calories.When you eat your body burns calories just to consume your food not to mention the process need to turn the raw food into fuel.Every movement you do requires calories, even your thought processing requires fuel or calories. So the answer to your question is you burnt the calories need when sleeping but still have calories in order to get out of bed and eat again.
