Why can't people understand my imagination?

That said you may be very intelligent and creative, but your ability to transmit your intelligence verbally or otherwise my not match what is going on in your head. Or even worse you maybe communicating clearly, it just could be that your "audience" is of limited capacity and you are just not understood due to others lack of vision.

Seek out those that can grasp your creativity and abstract ways. It can often be quite depressing to be isolated in company. Often people turn to drugs and destructive behavior when their frustrations are beyond their control.

There are places in the world where the intelligent go. Often smart folk end up in cities like San Francisco, NYC, Paris, London, Tokyo, etc.

But remember mediocrity exists everywhere, forever will you be cursed with intelligence.

Highly creative people use parts of their brain us average folk don't. Usually, highly creative people are either ADD, bipolar or have some other thing that allows them to use parts of the brain in a way others can't. If you have lots of energy, don't sleep much, or don't require much sleep to function, are very creative during periods of high energy, you may be bipolar. My wife is BP and is very creative. She is also very hard to understand sometimes.

It's really annoying that so many people are too narrow minded and narcissistic to think anyone else's thinking can be okay. Being original is more important than making sense any day. If people can't understand that, then they don't deserve your company.

I have a pretty weird imagination too. People look at my paitings and either fall in love with them or think I'm nuts. No biggie. There are plenty of other very imaginative artists out there. Keep making your art and you will meet them!

I used to think I had this vivid, wierd, odd, and unique imagination. over the years I have come to understand most people do, they are just scared to admit it, or you dont know them yet. If I had to guess you are probably basing this on just a few peoples opinions.

The thing i want you to understand is that yoUr imagination is a gift from God Almighty,now its ur job to develop it and then express to the outside world.Now sometimes when God doesn't want something to happen he closes its gates.I believe God has his time for everything and he doesn't want people to understand what Ur trying to express....................his probably waiting for the right time.

THEN SHOW IT AND DONT WORRY WHAT OTHERS THINK. OTHERS ARE GOING TO JUDGE YOU YOUR WHOLE LIFE AND YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT BUT AS LONG AS YOU ARE HAPPY YHE IT SHOULDNT MATTER
