I don't know what's the point system in yahoo answers mean. Will the posters be paid for asking or answering questions? I like the format of this site, that is why I am looking for similar site where I can earn by participating in a discussion.

The points on Yahoo Answers are just for fun. If you want to "get paid" for blogging, you would need to get a website and blog on it. If you get a lot of hits, you can find advertisers that will pay to put ads on your website. The more hits you get, the more money you can make from advertisements.

Try chacha.com you can become a "ChaCha" guide... all you do is search the web for whatever another user asks you to find... in a nut shell you are a "human" version of a search engine like yahoo or google
