How firm are most store return policies?
In general, if a store has a 30 day return policy, do they always stick to this firmly? An item was purchased as a Christmas gift in middle November. The store has a 30 day return policy. They still carry the item at full price. Thanks for your opinions.

Really it depends on the store and if you have a receipt. I worked at Target in my college days and around the holidays we were a little more lenient with our policies. Just make sure you bring the receipt in and explain it was a gift. But do this as soon as possible because after the first of the year you are going to have a harder time getting a refund or an exchange. Its worth trying. Good Luck.
