Be careful with those registry cleaning or tweaking programs. You can really mess up your computer with them.
If internet explorer is the only thing running slow, delete your temporary internet files.
What do you have running in the background? Pull up the task manager and see what processes and applications you have running. If you've got a bunch of stuff that's always running, that will slow down your machine. The biggest culprits for me were the instant messenger programs. I also found that Norton antivirus slowed down my computer a lot.

Just clean out all the uneeded stuff on ur comp, defragment it, or maybe get a hardware cleaner and then a hardware backup program. That should fix it
