What does dog/cat food taste like?

My friend tried it and told me it was bland...

    My brother has a couple of cats and makes a point to sampling any new kinds of cat food that he buys. As someone else here mentioned, what you smell is pretty much what you taste. It tends to be quite bland because animals tend to shy away from anything with a sharp or spicy odor.

    As for my own dog, he won't touch dog food. Can't say I blame him. As a result we feed him ordinary people food, though we are careful to make sure it's suitably prepared and properly nutritious for him.

    Depends what flavour, some taste like Beef in Jelly some taste like Tuna, myself i prefer the Chicken MMmmmmmm

    Try it! It's not bad.... it kinda leaves a weird after-taste though. Actually the most appropriate way to describe it is that it tastes almost exactly the same way it smells.

  • it depends on what kind/flavor you buy. It shouldn't do anything to you i mean if a dog can eat it I'm sure you can so just try it and find out for yourself

    if its canned, vienna sausage, hard style- badly
