it's not an excuse, it's something your mother should have told you, it's not a cliche men use. As you grow older women come to understand that men and women are wired different, and that ultimately we tend do "what we do". You know the kind of man your dating, if you date him long enough. I have a friend who was raped by some guys at a party when they spiked her drink. She ended up pregnant didnt know which one was the father and had to tell them and their parents, and fought for a trial. When she had told the parents even the moms simply said " Boys will be boys" RIDICULOUS!!! That is no excuse WHAT SO EVER!!! This saying just pisses me off. Do women have a stupid saying like this? If so I've never heard it...I think thats coz we are more mature and take responsibility for our actions. Amen for that!

it is used to explain things that shouldn't need explaining. men forgive women for way more horrid things than men can even dream of doing. The most horrid ones are being demanding and nagging. And, on the way back from the kitchen, can you bring me a beer and my playboy?
