how to get sculptures plastic/rubber coated?

Does anyone know of a plastic or rubber product that can coat objects by dipping them? Something other then resin gel coat that doesnt need to be painted on. I am thinking of the plastic/rubber suit on screwdrivers and tools. What is this product?

Possibly the easiest to use would be 'PADDING COMPOUND'

as used to bind 'clamped' together sheets of paper into a pad.

But, I would suggest going to a Staples Store and asking them.

It's called Plasti-Dip. Ask for it at Lowes or Home Depot or something.
