Need helping finding a driver for a scanner?

I have tried and tried, to find the Windows XP driver for a Microtek ScanMaker v310 scanner. It's an old scanner that someone gave me without any software disc. I have googled it any downloaded a bunch but they don't seem to work.

Can anyone please help me find/get the driver/software for this scanner.

Thank you for your help.

Download the driver for Windows NT here (or any other operating system like Windows 98)...

    http://support.microtek.com/product_dtl_2.phtml?pr...

, or find the correct drive at Microtek.

After loading the driver, click the "Properties" option in the scanner icon. When the properties window opens, click the "Compatibility" tab at the top.

Next, click the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then select "Windows NT" or any other you choose (like Windows 98).

    That should work.

You may have to go to C:/Program Files/Microtek/ScannerName to find the icon so you can change properties (if it is not on your desktop.

That scanner is going to be to old for XP support. Manufactures dont usually develope drivers for hardware on new operating systems that are over 1 year old.

If you find the model made before yours, that should work
