Corporate news and politics -- when did opinions become factual news and worthy of the front page?
It seems like facts have become fodder for the news cannon and peoples opinions get to blast holes in everything these days, especially in nationaly syndicated broadcasts, seemingly for ratings and partisan gain.
I posted this earlier but I thought it deserved a better time slot.

We assume that news used to be better. I'd like to see proof of that. I think news was always biased. Maybe I'm wrong.
I'd say everybody's biased, some more than others. Seek multiple news sources, that's the only way to get the truth.
The purpose of the media is to get more viewers and sell their commercials, not to tell us the truth about what's important. Nothing noble about it, but nothing so immoral about it.

Since Media Moguls became the puppet masters of western governments, and can make or break a person, place, group, leader, or country. They can and do rewrite history, many times, before it has happened.
