A butter burger is "Culver's" brand of hamburger. they are some of the best burgers that I have ever tasted.
Culvers is famous for it's delicious butterburgers, their fantastic frozen custard, and their great root beer floats.
butterburgers taste different than many fast food resteraunt's, and are much larger.

It's Culvers, a fast food type of joint that makes hamburgers and that sort of thing. They are supose to be famouse for their Butter Burgers. They're just a greasy hamburger with a different taste - ex: McD's & Burger King's burgers taste a little different. These burgers are also bigger than most other fast food burgers. I'm not sure what it is about them, but they are good.

I love reading reviews where one reviewer says the food is very "X" and someone else says very "Y".
X and Y in this case being greasy and dry. I've cooked a lot of burgers, but greasy AND dry must be an art!!
What would be nice on such 'reviews' would be words that gave frequency, or placement, as in,
ALWAYS greasy...
...the ONE time I was there...dry.
...eat there WEEKLY,...love 'em!
...5th Street is great, as is McDougal Ave, but their interstate 99 store, suuuucks!
I used to travel for a living, and if I learned anything about food / lodgings / entertainment, it's that 'it' can be great one day, suck the next. I've eaten in places that had horrible food at lunch, great food for dinner, off of an identical menu and even the same item. Sometimes it's WHO is cooking. I've seen small chains that are great at 5th Street, and the one on the interstate 3 miles away is just awful.
So folks, it may be a review of ???, but give some specifics of what, when, where, how often. That way, those of us from outside your area can go to the BEST place for X, Y, or Z.

We had a Culver's where we used to live in MO. We really loved their burgers! They were very juicy and tasty. I don't know if actual butter is what made them so good or not, but whatever it is I'm sure it's not good for your arteries!! But we loved them anyway, of course!! Maybe they just butter the buns when they toast them?
They also had great custard! We probably went back more often for the custard than the burgers!!

They're at Culvers. They're custard is wayyyyyy better than the burgers there.
Both are overpriced.
I will take Dairy Queen or Ritter's any day!

They just put some butter on the buns on the side that contacts the burgers, then they grill the bun to make it a bit crispy on that side. They do have a website, I'll link you to that.

Culver's Butterburger® is made from fresh, never frozen, choice gorund chuck blended on toasted Kaiser bun and the crown of the bun is lightly buttered in toasted, and they are very good.

I think butter burgers from Culver's are overrated. I think they are kinda dry. And it takes forever for them to make them. I do like the Norwegian Cod sundae and the custard. My kid likes the Philly cheese. I think it is kinda spendy there too.
