What do you think about Saddam's execution?Why the rush?

It's time to put this sad chapter of their sad history behind them, as quickly as possible. i hope they treat it like a new day and stop believing they can find paradise in killing each other for the name of God.

It's probably being rushed to overshadow the death toll of soldiers in Iraq hits 300 any time now.

If its wrong for an individual to kill others, it's just as wrong for a state to execute someone. The civilized nations have gotten rid of the death penalty for that reason. May the US and Iraq evolve up soon too.

In Iraq, if the present government is to survive it needs to be done fast. And second an execution there is like in America in the 1920's. Take's a couple months to get through the legal system.

i think executions are wrong. why should we kill to show that killing is wrong? but cruelty to people and to his people is horrible and in a way should be punished.

people want answers. us citizens are terrified of what has happened since 9/11. and the exectuion of saddam just makes them feel as if they`re getting somewhere. soldiers have been in iraq for quite a while already. and bush is not going to negotiate removing troops. they think they`re doing this for the better.

The sooner it's over the better.

If they wait weeks or months, it just gives the terrorists more time to plan attacks they can blame on the execution.

I think we should do it here that way too. Why should I have to pay room & board, medical, dental, legal, etc etc etc for many years for someone sentenced to death?

If you knew that you would be executed in a short time if you committed a murder.rape/kidnapping Iinstead of being coddled for years), would you think twice?

I think someone is trying to get a quick tax credit before the year ends.

because of the holiday that starts over there at 6am their time and goes until tuesday..and because the iraqi people waited long enough to be rid of him for good.....

i wish america would do the same thing

why should we have someone sit on death row for over 25years.
