I moved to Florida in feb 2006.
I only managed to get a visa because my wife is an American. It took a longgggggg time to get the visa too.
American immigration is among the toughest in the world and you can expect to wait at least a year from the time you apply to the time you get there.
Visit these websites to find info on what visa's you can apply for:

Unless you have direct family members, it's very hard unless you have a job offer or are planning to study at an american university.
Other than that, I'd suggest Canada. Honestly, I'd rather live there.

You need to apply for a U.S. visa. Go to the web site below to read the requirements. You can also go to the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate to your home and talk to them about applying. If you want to immigrate permanently to the U.S., it will be a long process. On the website, just click on "Visas for immigrants." You need to know that California is a VERY expensive place to live, so you may want to study other areas too. And you will need good job skills.

Well you could go to Mexico and sneak across the border like one million Mexicans do every year or, you could do it the right way and start by visiting the American Embassy in your country and applying for a visa to this country. If you like it here, you can then apply for citizenship.

nothin, just bring your *** over the border and you can stay. we have immagration laws but they arent ever enforced. we have a severe problem with immagration right now because of that. my suggestion to you is to stay home.... this country is way over populated and the housing and job market has hit damn near rock bottom. this country is fast losing what people flock here for.... freedom for all
