vertical hood piercing and recovery time?

How long after a vertical hood piercing should you wait before stimulating the area?

Update:

I have not got the piercing yet...I'm trying to plan accordingly.

    I waited a week, and even then, be careful. It took about six weeks before I felt brave enough to behave...normally. I'm sure it would have been fine after a week, but i'm a sissy.

    i think when you feel comfortable, but you should have got advice from the person that pierced it
